Weekend Coverage-Thoracic Surgery in Pennsylvania
This locum tenens assignment offers an excellent opportunity to help a hospital in Pennsylvania with their ongoing coverage needs while maintaining a great work-life balance. We're seeking a board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to provide call-only coverage.

- Call-only assignments offer flexibility to maximize time off between shifts
- Enjoy a manageable locums commitment with periodic vacation coverage available
- Temporary privileges are available for a faster start
Practice Setting
- Inpatient setting with a focus on assigned patients
- Hospital is stroke certified
- Admissions are required for this assignment
Schedule
- Per diem and short-term needs are available
- Every other weekend starting on a Friday at 12 p.m. with coverage until Monday at 7 a.m.
- Periodic coverage for vacation time is also needed throughout the year
Procedures and Cases
- This is a call-only assignment
- Beeper call
- 30-minute call response time required
Requirements
- Board certification is required
- Must be licensed in PA or open to IMLC Physicians
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required
Credentialing Requirements
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
- Temporary privileges are available
