Internship Opportunity In Immunology

The Immunology, Cardiovascular Translational and Early Development team is seeking a talented undergraduate/graduate student to support our translational work in immunology. They could help design assays and perform analyses to identify biomarkers to monitor and predict responses for our drug candidates.

This is a great opportunity to learn about biomedical research in an industry setting, to perform work that will impact drug development timelines, and to learn about the drug development process in a dynamic and highly productive organization.

The full-time internship will take place June - August 2026. Key responsibilities depending on the individual's skills, they will have the opportunity to:

• Actively contribute to translational project(s) aligned with the Immunology Translational Early Development objectives and participate in BMS internship program requirements.
• Plan and run their experiments using human patient samples implementing state-of-the art technologies (e.g. immunoassays, RT-PCR, flow cytometry)
• Compile and present data in lab meetings

Qualifications & experience:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program majoring in Molecular or Cellular Biology, Biotechnology, Computational Biology or Computer Sciences.
• Basic understanding of Biology and immunology.
• General wet lab experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with scientists, software engineers and collaborators.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is within the range of $27.00 to $29.00/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change.
