Job Description Summary

The Staff Engineer - PWB Technologist is the subject matter expert for printed wiring board (PWB) / printed circuit board (PCB) design and technology. This role supports the avionics hardware team through technical depth, supplier relationships and development, a problem solving mindset, developing standards and best practices, and industry engagement. The role will report to the Platform Hardware Engineering Leader.

  Guiding technology growth path for High Density Interconnect (HDI) board designs.

  Evaluate, develop, and qualify PWB/PCB suppliers.

  Develop and deploy training for circuit designers and board layout personnel.

  Maintain design practices and standard work, best practices, tool standardization.

  Drive Design for Manufacturability objectives within PWB designs

  Proactive engagement with business needs.

  Manage critical designs/projects through the development and procurement path.

  Hands-on problem solving.

  Engagement with industry through technology seminars and committee participation.

  Participation in circuit board design and drawing reviews.

  Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Engineering with 12+ years of professional experiences with PWB/PCB technology.

• n

The base pay range for this position is $142,100.00 - $189,500.00 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 10/31/25.?
