SENIOR QUANTITATIVE ENGINEER (RETAIL WEALTH)
nWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
nThis position is responsible for developing logic-intensive components of the digital wealth management platform. Works on computational libraries, as well as API services that interact with those libraries and other parts of the platform. The core focus for the position will be on implementing software used in portfolio optimization, Monte Carlo simulations, trading algorithms, financial health scores, and probability assessment models used in developing a wealth management platform.

Develop software for quantitative and portfolio management using Python

Design/test/maintain/improve the core trading and research applications being developed
n n - n
Develop code to extract data from various sources to support development of the models
n n - n
Collaborate with team on best practices
n n - n
Conduct research on portfolio optimization, perform back test and implement trading models
n n
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
nRequired Qualifications *

Master's Degree or equivalent experience
n n - n
5+ years of software development in a quantitative finance area
n n - n
3+ years of professional experience building large scale applications/API's in Python
n n
Additional Qualifications
n- n
- n
Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or other relevant discipline. PhD preferred
n n - n
7+ years of relevant experience in a quantitative finance area
n n - n
Strong knowledge of quantitative concepts, including applied statistics
n n - n
Experience using analytics libraries and frameworks such TensorFlow, Scikit, NumPy
n n - n
Familiarity with and ability to apply the following concepts to solve data problems; natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modelling, statistical analysis, predictive modelling and hypothesis testing
n n - n
Strong problem-solving skills
n n - n
Knowledge of (or interest in) personal finance/economics
n n - n
Experience with algorithm design or development
n n - n
Experience working with RESTful APIs
n n - n
Experience with Python API frameworks like Django, Flask
n n - n
Experience with containerization is a big plus
n n - n
Experience in financial services preferred
n n - n
Experience developing financial models in behavioral finance or wealth management
n n
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
nCompensation Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
