The Retail Associate plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining an inviting store environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling cash register transactions, merchandising, and ensuring store upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage every customer using Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach to foster customer loyalty.
- Handle cash register transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Become knowledgeable about store products, weekly deals, and the amazing value we offer.
- Assist with freight logistics and learn the best retail merchandising practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No prior retail experience? No problem—we're happy to train you!
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to help customers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
