Capgemini is seeking a highly experienced Presales Solution Architect to join our team, focused on Consumer Product and Retail Services (CPRS). This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep domain expertise in warehouse management systems, supply chain software, PLM, or retail/POS systems. The candidate should have a strong background in Software Led Transformation and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. This position offers flexibility to be located anywhere in the U.S. near one of Capgemini’s primary hubs, and involves engaging with CXOs and stakeholders to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions.

Your role

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer challenges and craft tailored technical solutions.

• Apply deep technical knowledge across hardware abstraction layers, OS kernel and device drivers, middleware, and cloud-native architectures.

• Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to CXOs and key decision-makers.

• Engage with CPRS clients to uncover needs, pain points, and solution opportunities.

• Represent Capgemini’s capabilities in software solutions including cloud migration, modernization, and platform integration.

• Design and validate solutions with customers, sales, delivery, and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and value.

• Provide billable consulting services focused on discovery, advisory, and solution envisioning.

• Support project startups as a technical architect, designer, or mentor to ensure successful delivery.

Your skills and experience

• Over 15 years of combined experience in presales, software architecture, and CPRS domain expertise.

• Extensive background in Software Led Transformation, delivering measurable business outcomes.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Strong technical foundation in OS-level development, middleware, networking, and SDLC tools.

• Proven ability to communicate complex solutions to CXOs and senior stakeholders.

• Demonstrated executive presence and client engagement skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent; cloud and industry certifications are a plus.
