Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a mid-sized organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis. This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, generous hybrid flexibility, and opportunities to assist on special projects related to financial analytics and M&A. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A, advanced modeling skills, and experience using Power BI or similar tools to enhance data visibility and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic planning and performance analysis.
• Develop and enhance management reporting and KPI dashboards using Power BI or comparable tools.
• Partner with business leaders to interpret results, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units.
• Participate in select financial analytics and M&A related projects, including data review and integration analysis.
• Contribute to month-end close processes, ensuring reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes and reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency in assumptions, data integrity, and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with strong budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or other visualization tools preferred.
• Exposure to financial analytics or M&A support a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging leadership.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs.
