We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our Automation team at the Fort Loramie site. In this pivotal role, you will manage and execute engineering processes essential for the design, development, production, and service of our state-of-the-art automation equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Coordination: Help define project timelines and resource requirements while leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones within financial targets.
- Engineering Design & System Integration: Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic engineers to design complex automation systems and lead the development of control systems including PLCs, Safety PLCs, HMIs, and robot programming.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Guide teams in resolving issues and overseeing startup, debugging, and system maturation to meet customer performance standards.
- Budget & Cost Management: Maintain project budgets efficiently and collaborate with procurement to establish cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Onsite Support & Commissioning: Manage onsite installation, assist with equipment commissioning, and ensure successful system integration while addressing customer payment issues as necessary.
- Documentation & Standardization: Coordinate the creation of operational manuals and enhance engineering standards to ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with ISO documentation standards.
- Team Development & Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and assist in team performance evaluations to foster a high-performance work culture.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A technical degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is highly desired.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation design and engineering, with expertise in PLC/HMI systems, robot programming, and safety systems.
- Proficiency in electrical schematic creation using AutoCAD Electrical is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time as required by project demands.
