About the Role:

At Guidehouse, our Life Sciences team drives innovation for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostic companies. By partnering with clients at every organizational level, you will contribute to delivering solutions in product planning, pricing, reimbursement, commercialization, and regulatory compliance. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in our consulting process, managing assignments while interacting regularly with clients.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing scientific, clinical, financial, and strategic data to highlight the business implications of new technologies and industry trends.
• Conducting primary research interviews with clinicians, thought leaders, and executives within the life sciences field.
• Managing and mentoring junior team members.
• Preparing and delivering presentations and reports to senior management and clients.

Our Life Sciences practice values career development and offers a clear path for advancement. As you develop your project management skills and learn to juggle multiple work streams, you will be supported in progressing to the role of Managing Consultant.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
• Advanced degree status: Must be enrolled in a relevant accredited program (MBA, MD, PharmD, or PhD) through Fall 2025 and graduate by Summer 2026.
• PhD candidates completing postdoctoral research fellowships are also eligible.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in life sciences or consulting.
• A demonstrated interest in Life Sciences consulting.
• Strong critical thinking, creativity, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively supervise, mentor, and coach team members.
• Understanding clinical and business implications of complex products and services.
• Project management skills with the capability of handling multiple work streams.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime when necessary.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and organizational needs.
