As a Senior Manager Project Manager, you will drive strategy and execute high priority / high visibility projects related to the Discover technology transition. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company\'s bottom line and will take on important responsibilities from day one, collaborating with key stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities

• Work on large scale projects across the technology organization.
• Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope and deliverables, timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed.
• Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery, including feasibility, design, planning and implementation.
• Leverage problem solving to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand processes and drive results.
• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of project management and the ability to structure work quickly.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills to interact with key stakeholders at all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.
• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience
• At least 4 years Agile experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master\'s or MBA degree
• 6+ years of Project Management experience
• 3+ years of Project Management experience within the Technology industry
• 2+ years of Jira experience
• 2+ years of Confluence experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem solving and influencing skills
• Experience delivering results with complex projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries where applicable pertain to candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and reflect the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.

Chicago, IL: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management; McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project Management; Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter.

This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
