We are in search of a Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in utility consulting and design engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a robust educational background in the design of steel structures, concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, site design, and foundations.

This role requires proficiency in reviewing substation structure designs, rigid bus designs, foundation designs, oil spill containment designs, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, and comprehensive site design packages. In this position, you will perform design reviews of critical civil/structural components, ensuring the delivery of high-quality bid and construction packages for substation projects.

As a senior engineer, you will oversee teams, mentor junior staff, and lead client projects through effective quality control and design oversight. You will also participate in site visits to substation facilities and travel for client meetings and industry events as necessary, facilitating your engagement in critical operational aspects such as kick-off meetings and lunch-and-learns.

Your commitment to quality control, safety, and adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget is essential. As a senior member of our design team, you will collaborate with fellow engineers, designers, and drafting technicians to deliver outstanding results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil-Structural Engineering is required
• Master's degree in Civil-Structural Engineering is preferred
• PE Licensure is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MATHCAD software is required
• Experience with STAAD.Pro, RISA 3D, FAD Tools, SAFE, SAG10, and LPILE software is required
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation is essential
• Strong analytical and technical writing abilities
• Collaborative team player with excellent client communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 25% is essential

Pay Range: $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

This pay range is a guideline only; actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors including responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
