The Electrified Propulsion Engineering (EPE) organization is responsible for delivering the best fuel economy and refined Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid and Electric vehicles in every segment in which we contend. What you'll do...

  Design and Release eMotor stator components and assemblies

  n
n
• n

  Deliver all GPDS milestone, build deliverables per Global Integrator

  n
n
• n

  Develop quality documents DFMEA, SCCAF, P-diagram etc. for in-house motor designs

  n
n
• n

  Support campaign prevent deep dive reviews

  n
n
• n

  Manage tier I supply base, document statement of work, develop cost targets, etc.

  n
n
• n

  Manage supplier (Cost, timing, product and manufacturing changes). Participate in To4 discussions, supplier sourcing, cost targets, SOBA, CPA.

• n

  Work with PTME to deliver design for manufacturing

  n
n
• n

  Support unit team deliver on time prototype builds, DV testing & launch.

  n
n
• n

  Provide direction to CAD team to develop designs for function, packaging and assembly feasibility.

  n

You'll have...

n
• n

  Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

  n
n
• n

  Experience in design and release activity.

  n
n
• n

  Mechanical design experience

  n
n
• n

  Strong working knowledge of design for manufacturability

  n
n
• n

  GD&T and stack up analysis experience

  n
n
• n

  Strong Familiarity with GPDS disciplines and deliverables

  n
n
• n

  Understanding of CAE inputs and outputs

  n
n
• n

  Experience in Quality Disciplines (DFMEA, SCAAF etc.) and GPDS Deliverables

  n
n
• n

  Willingness to travel to North American suppliers sites (as required)

  n
n
• n

  Strong project management experience

  n
n

  Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

  5+ years experience in design and release

  Experience with a build to print or in-house manufactured commodity is a plus
