Quality Assurance System Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Consult with the R&D Quality Assurance functional area to develop understanding of complex business needs supported by enterprise quality management systems.

Determine how changing Quality Assurance business needs will affect the system.

Understand the role of the system in the big picture and provide ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of the system.

Respond to questions and influence the users regarding current and potential Quality Assurance system inputs, processes, and outputs.

Conduct research and analysis into the nature, effect, and results of system problems.

Develop detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling.

Review and route requested system changes and develop detailed specifications for implementation. Communicate system changes and propose issue resolutions to the next level of management.

Ensure current and accurate system documentation, coordinate and/or perform testing of system modifications, both validated and non-validated systems.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or similar STEM related field; and 5 years of application &/or computer systems development experience.

Of experience required, must have at least 5 years of work experience in each of the following:

1. systems development, implementation, and operation of large-scale IT solutions;
2. working independently within a matrixed corporate environment synthesizing stakeholder needs into technical solutions,
3. proposing viable and efficient IT solutions by understanding business challenges and identifying available commercial & bespoke software solutions, and
4. developing detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling. Candidate must provide examples of the same.

Alternatively, would accept a Master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or similar STEM related field; and 2 years of application &/or computer systems development experience. Of experience required, must have 2 years of (i), (ii), (iii) & (iv).

Work experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training & work experience accepted.

Hybrid 3 days onsite/2 WFH

Salary Range: $117,957.00 - $122,000.00 per year.
