Senior Account Executive - Healthcare Services
Join our leading healthcare team as a Senior Account Executive, where you will act as the primary liaison between our company and a diverse range of healthcare facilities. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting families during their transitional phase from hospital or nursing facilities to appropriate senior living options. This position demands a proactive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic individual ready to facilitate smooth transitions for families in urgent need of care solutions.
Salary: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with hospitals and skilled nursing facilities within your assigned region to facilitate care transitions for patients discharged from these facilities.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets by generating qualified patient referrals regularly from your assigned market plan accounts.
- Continuously develop, expand, and manage your book of accounts to increase the volume of referrals and enhance the service presence in your territory.
- Network actively and perform cold calls and presentations to cultivate new contacts and strengthen existing relationships within each account.
- Provide thorough education to families on available care options, ensuring they understand how to collaborate with our Senior Living Advisors to choose the best care.
- Collaborate closely with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to ensure seamless service and meet family placement targets on a monthly basis.
- Initiate and test new strategies and processes such as account scoring and CRM enhancements, providing feedback to fine-tune these initiatives based on practical findings.
- Maintain constant communication and follow up with referral sources regarding discharge outcomes to affirm the continuous value provided by our services.
- Manage rigorous daily activities including scheduled presentations, calls, and unplanned visits to align with weekly and monthly goals.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least three years of proven experience in outside sales, ideally within the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated ability to surpass sales quotas and successfully collaborate with team members to enhance overall performance.
- Expertise in delivering compelling presentations and overcoming objections effectively.
- Strong aptitude for working independently in an environment characterized by rapid change and a high degree of autonomy.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development with a competitive drive.
- Ability to manage local travel requirements, including frequent field visits (5 days a week).
- Excellence in time management and ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or hospital sales highly preferred.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce.
