As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to support a sense of order, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist with controlling access to the premises, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
