Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Transportation Patrol Fulltime in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $27.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the premises for any security-related concerns and report observations according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff and the public.
• Interact with individuals on site in a courteous and professional manner, addressing questions and/or concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required for incident response and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Holding a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
