As a Security Professional DTLA Resort Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together with integrity to deliver a caring experience for everyone at the location.

• Thur 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and/or resort location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including guiding guests and staff during incidents.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
