School Aide

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring School Aides to support students in general and special education classrooms across Oceanside. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, child development, and making a meaningful impact in students' lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and student supervision
• Support students with academic and behavioral needs
• Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior plans
• Escort students and assist with mobility or therapeutic care needs
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
