Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee

Safety-Kleen is on the lookout for a motivated Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee) to join our team. This role will provide training to operate a Class B box truck, delivering on-site service for parts washer machines, managing the pick-up of containerized hazardous waste, and promoting our products and services along a defined route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites daily to ensure service satisfaction.
• Swap out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions safely and efficiently.
• Service parts washer machines and perform necessary maintenance.
• Engage in upselling at customer locations while generating new business leads.
• Handle services for automotive repair, fleet, and manufacturing sectors.
• Ensure timely completion of daily service schedules, deliveries, and pickups.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other requirements.
• Follow all environmental health and safety guidelines set by the company.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Basic proficiency in computer and math skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Capable of performing physical tasks as required by the job.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Comply with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard regarding facial hair.

• Proven customer service skills.
• Experience in commercial route driving (Class C or Non-CDL).
