This leading pediatric healthcare facility is part of a respected regional health system. The radiology department features modern equipment and technology including RP Cloud, Intelrad, PowerScribe, and Clario. This facility is known for its collaborative team environment and commitment to providing exceptional pediatric care.
Opportunity: Physician - Pediatric Radiology
This role presents an excellent opportunity for Pediatric Radiologists seeking either onsite or remote work with a well-established healthcare system. The position offers a comprehensive practice experience with a focus on pediatric imaging services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7 days per week, 8am-5pm EST with evening and overnight call
- 100% Pediatric focus
- Coverage needed through Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
- Case mix includes all pediatric imaging except Neuro and MSK MRI
- Procedures include fluoroscopy, pediatric ED studies, stat readings, and ultrasound
- Fluoroscopy cases may include upper GI studies, small bowel follow-through, enemas, VCUGs, and video swallow speech studies
- Call responsibilities typically involve 1-2 call-backs during a 7-day period, primarily for intussusceptions and upper GI series for malrotations
- Volume expectation is 40 wRVUs per shift for onsite and 45 wRVUs per shift for remote work
- Onsite preferred, but remote available for the right candidate
- Candidates must be proficient in fluoroscopy and all pediatric procedures and willing to take call
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
