Quality Assurance Manager:
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will join a dynamic team overseeing service quality for HVAC systems, generators, electrical infrastructure, fire suppression systems, and telemetry/monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with commercial HVAC and power generation equipment, strong vendor management skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality control systems for HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Evaluate vendor services to ensure alignment with industry standards and company expectations.
- Conduct technical inspections of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and air handling units.
- Inspect and audit AC/DC electrical systems, power distribution units (PDUs), and switchgear maintenance.
- Analyze HVAC preventive maintenance programs and repair quality standards.
- Document service quality, conduct statistical analysis, and perform regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Address service quality issues and collaborate with vendors to meet expectations.
- Support demand-related calls and assist with technical troubleshooting when needed.
- Participate in vendor selection processes and evaluate their ability to meet quality standards.
- Implement training programs for internal teams on quality control practices.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor"s degree in quality, business, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, generator systems, and AC/DC electrical systems.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role in HVAC or facilities systems.
- Valid driver"s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC or electrical fields are a preferred.
Additional Information:
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Work involves exposure to various weather conditions and proximity to moving mechanical parts.
- Physical demands include climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- Extended periods of sitting or driving may be required.
