Your Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand and power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery, mechanical electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing and make necessary chemical adjustments.
• Conduct daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and address repair needs.
• Record and analyze utility meter readings and take corrective actions as needed.
• Perform inspections, including checking motors, belts, fluid levels, and maintaining equipment according to procedures.
• Inspect, clean, and lubricate components following work procedures and technical manuals.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

• A high school diploma and/or GED.
• A two-year technical degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Knowledge of maintenance equipment.
• A minimum of 6 months' experience with industrial processing equipment; military experience is an advantage.
• Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment test.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding maintenance literature in English.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
