Job Title: Plumbing Apprentice

Job Description

We are seeking plumbing apprentices to join our team for new construction projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for the final hook-up of sprinkler systems using both steel and CPVC piping.

Responsibilities

• Perform final hook-up of sprinkler systems.

• Work with both steel and CPVC piping.

• Run a Rigid 300 machine, and perform threading and grooving of pipes.

• Read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience or schooling with basic plumbing.

• Mechanical inclination.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with construction projects, specifically as a pipefitter or plumber.

• Skills in bending and cutting pipes.

• Experience with sprinkler fitting.

Work Environment

This role involves working on commercial job sites, handling new construction tasks. Candidates should be comfortable working in a rough and potentially dirty environment. Projects include work in hotels, distribution warehouses, corporate office buildings, and retail spaces, involving various sprinkler systems and fire protection services.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
