Contract Immigration Legal Administrative Assistant

Legal & Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including document preparation, proofreading, and filing.

Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate legal appointments.

Organize and maintain legal files, both physical and digital.

Assist with client communications and follow-ups.

Prepare and process legal correspondence and forms.

Support case tracking and deadline management.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in immigration law is a plus, but not required.

Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.

Experience with legal document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.

Associates degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required.
