Temporary Payroll Clerk

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Temporary Payroll Clerk to support certified payroll processing for union employees. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly acclimate to new systems and requires minimal training. Prior experience with union payroll and weekly pay cycles is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Process certified payroll for union workers in compliance with government agency contracts.
• Utilize appropriate reporting platforms such as LCP Tracker or NJ Hub.
• Collect and format timecard data from reports or CSC files.
• Ensure timely and accurate creation of payroll files for each project.
• Prepare files for direct deposit and certified payroll reporting.
• Manage weekly payroll cycles (e.g., WednesdayTuesday), standard in union environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing
• Familiarity with union payroll practices
• Understanding of construction industry payroll standards
• Proficiency in Sage 300 and other ERP systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Branchburg, NJ.
