Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the acute unit at Patuxent Institution located in Jessup, Maryland. Please Note: this position requires a minimum of 18 months of prior experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
Qualifications

Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland
Must have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Minimum of eighteen (18) months' experience as a PMHNP in a clinical setting

Available Shift

Saturday/Sunday/Monday schedule
Day shifts (8 am - 4:30 pm)
24 hours per week
