Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
- Day 3x12s (06:00–19:30), 36 hrs/week
- On Call: 5–8 calls/month, including 1 weekend
- Holiday Call: May be required
- Orientation: 36 hours
Requirements:
- License: Active SC or multi-state RN (must be in hand at start)
- Experience: 2+ years RN (CVOR or acute OR required; ability to scrub & circulate complex vascular cases required; first-timers not preferred)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA required)
- Community & Teaching Hospital Experience: Required; Trauma Level I/II preferred, LTAC preferred
- Charge Experience: Preferred
- Charting: EPIC experience
Unit Details:
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 (days/nights/weekends)
- Patient Age Group: Adults
- Cases/Day: ~28
- Rooms: 10
- Interdisciplinary Support: IV team, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response, unit secretary
