Valet Parking Attendant
Provide valet parking and front door guest services for patients, visitors, and guests. Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.
Principle Responsibilities
- Provides Responsive Customer Service
- Answers questions about parking, provides directions and assists customer with entering and exiting the hospital entrance.
- Greets all customers in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.
- Parking and Retrieving Vehicles
- Moves vehicle to appropriate valet parking spot promptly to avoid congestion.
- Ensures correct documentation on valet tickets.
- When retrieving vehicle, delivers vehicle to hospital entrance check claim ticket to ensure you're delivering to the right customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
- 2 to 5 years of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Parking Attendant/Valet
Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver's License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment
Physical Demands
- Sedentary:
- Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $19.35 to $25.39 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
