About the Automotive Technician Position
nAs an Automotive Technician with MPC Bus Corp, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing paratransit vehicles to ensure safety and reliability. Key responsibilities include:

Performing preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections.
n n - n
Diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
n n - n
Completing work orders accurately and efficiently.
n n - n
Assisting with mobile emergency repairs as needed.

Automotive Mechanic Qualifications

- n
Valid driver's license required -must obtain a CDL class C (training provided!)
n n - n
3 or more years of experience in automotive or diesel maintenance & repair OR equivalent technical school training
n n - n
Must have a personal mechanic's tool set
n n - n
Willingness to participate in ASE certification program - training, testing, and bonuses provided!

Subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee (DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason).
