Atlantic Coast Recycling, a Waste Connections Company, is eager to grow our team by adding a Conveyor Mechanic. This position is for the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. Our work environment is stable and we operate year-round.
Join us today! We offer a competitive pay rate of $28-$32 per hour, based on relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate equipment for necessary repairs or replacements.
- Assemble and align component parts using hand and power tools.
- Inspect and troubleshoot machine centers for any defects.
- Install electrical and electronic components using appropriate tools.
- Utilize blueprints and schematics to execute repairs effectively.
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to meet operational specs.
- Test electromechanical assemblies using various test instruments.
- Ensure all parts comply with specifications through precise measurements.
- Fabricate components using metalworking machines.
- Train others on installation, usage, and maintenance practices.
- Conduct electrical and hydraulic repairs along with preventive maintenance.
- Interpret vehicle computer systems to diagnose issues.
- Perform safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Document repairs using fleet maintenance software.
- Address repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
