KPMG is seeking a Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships for a variety of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses.
- Participate in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, build and maintain client relationships, and deliver high-quality tax services and advice.
- Oversee engagement risks and financial performance, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
- Contribute to market and business activities outside the firm.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM; candidates without an approved credential have one year from hire to obtain one.
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, partnerships, and ASC 740.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and service teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
