nFast-paced, high volume Surgery department is looking for top skilled CST's. Is that you?
nMUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF CST EXP
nWork location: Texas Health Forth Worth Harris, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Ft Worth, TX 76104
nWork hours: Full Time Evening Shift 36 hours per week

Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 75 surgeries/day

Level I Trauma Candidate performing high-acuity and intense surgical procedures capable of providing excellent clinical experience to the new hire.

Robotics, Complex spine and ortho trauma, and intricate plastic surgery cases are the highlight of surgical offerings at THFW
n n
Education
nH.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009. Req Or
nOther Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, vocational nurse program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology. Req
nOther Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, vocational nurse program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology. Pref
nExperience
n2 Years Recent experience in a surgical service specialty (robotics, cardiovascular/hearts, orthopedics, neurology) with a minimum of 150 cases performed in that specialty. Req
nLicenses and Certifications
nCST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req Or
nCST - Certified Surgical Technologist and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire Req Or
nCST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon Hire Req Or
nLVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req And
nBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire Req
nSkills
nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across disciplines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. A high degree of confidentiality with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple demands as well as respond to rapidly changing priorities. Service orientation and demonstrated ability to respond to the needs and emotions of people under stress.
