Production Manager
The Production Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Production and Production Warehouse departments at multiple locations and is the key contact for all IT/technical issues. The Production Manager also creates, monitors and manages expense and capital budgets, leads associates and manages all aspects of employee engagement.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining production plans, determining headcount requirements and labor utilization, scheduling equipment and team resources, tracking component yield rates, managing work order maintenance, setting performance metrics, benchmarking metrics, developing and monitoring annual department budgets, planning and managing resources, and more.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor's degree in business management preferred, 7+ years of production and/or manufacturing experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and project management skills, proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software, and detailed knowledge of ERP and WMS systems.
Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, using hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone, lifting up to 20 pounds, and specific vision abilities. The position requires travel, including overnight travel for production launches, company events, staff meetings, training sessions, and vendor fairs. A valid driver license and proof of automobile insurance coverage are required.
