Legal Assistant

LHH is recruiting a Temp-to-Hire Legal Assistant for a law firm in Hudson, Ohio. The legal assistant will assist attorneys with labor & employment and workers' compensation matters.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating attorney schedules and court deadlines.
• Electronically filing pleadings and motions in state and federal courts.
• Transcribing dictation of correspondence, memoranda, legal pleadings, and other documents.
• Coordinating logistics for conferences and depositions, including attorney travel arrangements.
• Opening and closing case files, including managing client intake information.
• Entering attorney billable time through automated systems and ensuring accuracy.
• Preparing monthly client invoices.
• Maintaining paper and electronic litigation files per team procedures.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
