LEGAL ASSISTANT

Legal Assistant

We are looking for highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistants with transactional backgrounds and a minimum of two years of experience working in a law firm setting. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting attorneys in corporate, real estate, finance or other transactional practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys in transactional matters

Draft, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and agreements

Manage and organize case files, contracts, and closing documents

Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties

Assist with document management, filing, and database maintenance

Handle billing, time entry, and expense tracking

Perform legal research and due diligence support as needed

Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness in all tasks

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm environment

Strong understanding of legal terminology and transactional processes

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal document management systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Professional demeanor and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
