IT Project Manager III

Responsible for planning and managing the execution of IT projects of medium to large size & complexity.

Leads or contributes to the overall design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.

Understands and applies Project Management practices.

Follows standard procedures for a particular set of applications.

Develops documentation and delivers training in the fundamentals of various applications.

Scheduling expertise and cost management.

Authority to complete assignments according to standard operating procedures; Exercises own judgement in proposing a solution for handling non-standard assignments.

Developing cost estimates, project plans and execution of projects.

Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology

Experience: 7 or more years of applicable and proven experience in leading Information Technology / Services Projects.

Licenses: None

Certifications: PMP certification preferred

No clearance requirement but the contract and/or the site requires US Citizenship to be approved for access. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Developed communication skills, both written & verbal. Able to translate technical jargon to simple business language.

Understands and applies Project Management methodologies and practices.

Physical Activities: Light worksignificant degree of walking or standing, lifting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently

This position does not require any supervisor responsibilities.

Hiring Salary Range: $83,178.91 - $105,315.23 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
