IT Architect - Cloud Solutions
As a member of the Contact Center CX - Innovation and Architecture team, the IT Architect should be able to implement strategic goals established by leadership; lead, develop, collaborate, and advance the applied and responsible use of AI, ML and data science solutions throughout the enterprise. The IT Architect will serve in a lead technical role and interact with other Contact Center Engineering and IT team members as well as various internal customers and external vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the automation processes for daily activities, build activities and new feature and functionality with public and private cloud
- Interact with other team members and groups within the IT organization
- Help enforce the standards for server builds and services deployed in AWS and the private cloud by the cloud solutions teams
- Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
Design, prototype, and deliver AI-powered automation solutions across our platforms. Design and build customer experience and conversational AI solutions, including dialog flows, API integrations and AI agent orchestrations. Develop and maintain technical integrations between solutions and Maximus technologies such as CRM, ITSM, and data reporting systems. Determine the right fit of tools, technologies, processes, and automation to enable effective and efficient solutions for each unique situation. Assess benefits versus risk of implementing new technologies. Lead large, complex, and cross-functional efforts across the enterprise to support the creation of solutions and real mission outcomes, emphasizing and teaching the ability to flex and demonstrate initiative when dealing with ambiguous and fast-paced situations. Maintain authoritative knowledge of the evolving AI technology landscape, evaluating emerging technologies and their applicability for use in production/operational environments. Coordinate with other technical specialists, project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and effective management of resources. Participate in concise and clear technical documents. Knowledge of contact center platforms and VoIP protocols. Conduct code reviews and build consensus among team members. Mentor and coach technical staff across the organization, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Work with external vendors, when necessary.
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Computer Technology/or related discipline or equivalent professional technical experience. Hands on proficiency in technologies such as Genesys Cloud, Google Cloud, AWS / AWS AI and ML, AWS Lambda, Amazon Lexbots, and Microsoft Azure preferred. Proven track record architecting and delivering complex digital solutions with API integrations, enterprise systems, and cloud services. Background with State & Federal Government work. Expert knowledge of HTTP requests, REST web services, and JSON. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, system design principles, and low-code/no-code platforms. Ability to solve problems quickly and accurately. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Ability to successfully execute multiple complex tasks simultaneously. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. Excellent technical problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in troubleshooting challenging configurations. Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel as a team lead.

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
Minimum Salary: $157,760.00
Maximum Salary: $227,640.00
