IT Systems Engineering Specialist

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To develop and manage project assignments through completion; to communicate results; to make recommendations to management; and to provide training. Build and maintain relationships with telecommunication carriers and other telecommunication vendors.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE

  Identifies required resources; research project data, procedures and history for a thorough understanding of project direction.

  Generates and analyzes statistical data reports.

  n

• n

  Develops, prepares and manages project plan through completion.

  n

• n

  Communicates activity progress to involved parties.

  n

• n

  Resolves issues that arise involving client, when appropriate.

  n

• n

  Transitions program to management personnel.

  n
n
• n

  Participates in oral presentations.

  n
n
• n

  Develops and provides training to management and colleagues as needed.

  n
n
• n

  Work directly with internal groups and external vendors, primarily telecommunication vendors, to review billing information, order new services, disconnect services, and other carrier/vendor related duties.

  Performs other duties as assigned.

  Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (3) years project management, office operations management, managed care, insurance-related and/or statistical analysis experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
