Location

Duties

Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex insurance defense and maritime cases

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders

Draft reports, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

Take and defend depositions

Argue motions before state and federal courts

Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials

Collaborate with a global team on multi-jurisdictional matters

Contribute to client development and firm-wide initiatives

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of insurance defense experience in a law firm setting

Strong background in litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and depositions

Experience handling all phases of the litigation process

Familiarity with maritime law or international insurance litigation is a plus

Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Solid academic credentials preferred

Certifications

Admission in other U.S. states or jurisdictions is beneficial but not required
