Industrial Maintenance Technician

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 4+ years of maintenance experience
• Experience using mechanical, electrical, or other relevant systems
• Experience with CMMS

Pluses:

• Associate's degree in electrical, Mechanical or related field
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience

Job Description:

One of our largest pharmaceutical customers is seeing a Process Maintenance Technician to join their team in Holly Springs, NC. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of process related systems/equipment. Ensure these systems meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Also responsible for conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on process related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventative & corrective maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers
• Provides recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
• Perform elastomer change outs (ECO's)
• Contributes to Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) development and revisions for process maintenance related activities
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions
• Assists in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follows SOPs to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
• Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices
• Working a 2-2-3, 6PM-6AM schedule
