Electronics Repair Technician in Thomasville, NC

1st shift, Monday through Friday

Direct Placement

Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards down to the component level

Identify and analyze circuits

Establish and document procedures, programs, schematics, and supporting information for boards and complete units

Provide repairs of electrical equipment and interpret equipment manuals, SDS, safety materials, system drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Solder and desolder components as needed.

Proficiency in electronics troubleshooting and repair

Experience with soldering, including both through-hole and surface mount techniques

Ability to use test equipment and oscilloscopes

Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues

Experience in industrial electrical service repair with switchboards, motor controls, and E-houses preferred

Comfortable working with electrical equipment and components with mechanical/electrical aptitude

Ability to read, interpret, and modify documents and schematics

High degree of technical aptitude and math skills

Strong organizational and customer service skills

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
