ATTN Prior Tyson Workers:
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
A & C - 6a - 6p These shifts are on a rotating schedule- limited openings
B & D - 6p - 6a These shifts are on a rotating schedule -limited openings
PM 7:00am - 3:30pm This shift is M-F limited openings
Current Pay Level Range:$22.75 - $32.50 per hour
Position Summary:
General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- This position requires that you be able to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
- This position also requires trouble shooting of various mechanical issues in an industrial setting.
- This position requires the use of Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation that is required in the system.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
- The Team Member will work on their feet for a period of 12 hours.
- The Team Member will work in warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees.
- The Team Member will work in wet/ and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors.
- The Team Member may be exposed to airborne particles (primarily flour dust), and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection.
- The Team Member will complete all required training, both hands on and computer based, as required for the job.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. Can be a combination of employers.
