ADP is hiring an Accountant Channel Sales Representative .
In this role, you will close sales and win new business exclusively through our CPA accountant channel and client referrals as part of our Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) business. You will attend our training program and join a sales team selling human resources solutions, with benefits offerings across the hire-to-retire spectrum. You will be assigned to a list of accounting firms and collaborate with internal partners to gain access into accounts and pull leads from their assigned accounting firms.
Your day-to-day will focus on cultivating and nurturing relationships with CPAs, their clients, and internal partners to set appointments, gather leads, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions. You will manage multiple sales processes simultaneously through various stages and document them. As you sell new business, you will also support the implementation process for already-sold business until clients are up and running on the solutions you sell. As deals cross the finish line, you will have opportunities for competitive compensation, benefits, incentive trips, and awards. Leaders will back your desire to advance and provide continual sales training.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Grow Our Business While Growing Yours: Develop relationships with accounting firms through internal ADP partners. Educate them on Human Resources Outsourcing solutions for their clients, and implement a top-down sales strategy including industry updates, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) offerings, and benchmarking. Run CPA experience meetings to close sales and achieve sales goals.
- Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients: Help clients understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Earn referral business through networking with existing and prospective clients and forge partnerships in-person and over the phone with decision-makers.
- Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family: Cross-sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
- Collaborate Daily: Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to accountants, internal partners, and the network while demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE : Required Qualifications
- Positive Self-Starter: Upbeat, persistent, able to follow up on leads, manage time, multitask, and present ideas clearly in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Strategic Closer: Established network with outside B2B sales experience, proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory and relationships.
- Proven Winner: Ambitious, able to thrive under pressure, and capable of exceeding sales quotas.
Required
A college degree is helpful but not required. Other acceptable experience could include:
- Payroll experience, relationship sales experience, or HRO experience.
- Military experience — we value the discipline and problem-solving abilities of Veterans.

Base salary offers for this position may vary by location, skills, and experience, and may include bonus, equity, or commissions. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k) with matching, Wellness Program, Disability, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation range is USD 56,100.00 – 121,500.00 per year.
