Hotel Inspector
The responsibility of the Hotel Inspector is to provide supervision and training to room attendants and public space utility attendants and to inspect guest rooms for compliance with established company cleanliness, maintenance, and set-up standards. Responsibilities include supervising room cleaners in the prompt and efficient housekeeping of customer rooms, providing a clean and safe environment for guests, proactively maintaining assigned areas and equipment, ensuring efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner, using supplies efficiently, stocking cart properly with room supplies, reporting all safety, maintenance, and housekeeping concerns to management, attending and participating in all mandatory trainings, being flexible with schedule and assignments, following property cleaning procedures, following proper procedures for lost and found items, assisting hotel guests with inquiries, providing subordinates with guidance and information to ensure productivity is effective and efficient, and conducting multiple physical inspections of hotel rooms, suites, guest public areas, and employee areas.
Qualifications include professional appearance and demeanor, efficient communication skills, a high school diploma or GED equivalent, two years' experience in the housekeeping field, and a minimum age requirement of 21.
