Material Supervisor/Material Planning & Logistics Process Coach
We are seeking dedicated Material Supervisors/Material Planning & Logistics Process Coaches to oversee UAW employees across various plant areas. The role involves managing 50-90 employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of 50-90 UAW employees within different plant areas.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Hold team members accountable for their tasks and duties.
- Facilitate smooth logistics and material planning processes.
- Make quick decisions to address operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
- Previous supervision experience.
- Experience supervising in a union environment.
- Automotive industry background, preferably in logistics.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of supervision experience within an automotive facility.
- Recommendations from Ford Management employees are advantageous.
- Strong soft skills and resilience are crucial.

Work Environment
Expect a dynamic and fast-paced work environment requiring flexibility in hours and shifts. Supervisors may work 60-70 hours a week, with a rotating swing shift every three months across A, B, and C crews. A business casual dress code is observed, and supervisors are required to be present 30-45 minutes before and after production hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
