The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring for a full-time Greyhound Racing Attendant to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Greyhound Racing Attendant, you will be responsible for the overall care and treatment of the greyhounds on race days.

What will you do?
- Conduct inspections of the greyhound mechanical lure and rail system to ensure an efficient operation for every race.
- Log and ensure the rail and lure rig is safe and operational before each race; report any damage or non-working equipment.
More about you
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Greyhound Dog Walker, Leadout, Handler, or similar experience required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate state gaming license.
- Ability to problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- No high school diploma or GED required.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to remain standing for entire length of shift.
