Fire Protection/Plumbing Engineer
Location: Kennesaw, GA

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Fire Protection/Plumbing Designer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing state-of-the-art fire protection and plumbing systems for a variety of exciting projects, including government, higher education, and corporate facilities.
About the Role:
- Design expertise: You will be the primary designer of fire protection systems, including sprinkler layouts. You will also contribute to plumbing design.
- Project management: You will be responsible for meeting project deadlines and managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Technical proficiency: You will perform and document essential calculations related to plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Collaboration: You will work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality designs that meet budget and timeline requirements.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned professional: You possess at least 5 years of experience in Fire Protection and Plumbing design.
- A technical expert: You possess strong technical skills and the ability to perform and document complex calculations.
- A results-oriented individual: You are highly motivated and organized, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player: You are a collaborative team member who can effectively work with other disciplines to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or an Associate Degree in Drafting (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with Revit.
- Ability to participate in project site visits and facility audits.
Addition Info:
- Term: This is a 6-month temp to perm opportunity.
- Par Rate: The range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27 based on prior experience.
