Our client, an esteemed institution in the higher education sector, is seeking an Executive Administrative Aide to join their team. As an Executive Administrative Aide, you will be part of the administrative support team supporting the Dean and other senior personnel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Executive Administrative Aide-Higher Education

Location: New York, NY 10012

Pay Range: $25-30 per hour

** Hours: 9am-5pm (w/ 1 hour unpaid lunch), onsite Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial, and general office duties, including handling confidential information.

  • Respond to inquiries with a comprehensive understanding of the institution's activities, policies, and programs.

  • Interact with the public as a liaison and collaborate with university personnel, including senior staff, to resolve issues and address concerns.

  • Customize and compose letters proactively or in response to information requests.

  • Modify and create databases and spreadsheets to support administrative functions.

What's Needed?

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Experience working in an academic setting is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Proficiency with various software applications, including Google Workspace, is required.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
