Job Description
As a Technical Engineering Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead diverse water projects in Chicago and surrounding region, as well as on a national scale. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to execute innovative and impactful projects, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
*Please note, this role requires a specialized project management background, related to water services engineering. We are looking for Civil, Environmental or Water Resources Engineer with a minimum of 7 years overall experience with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Manager for water services.*
Main Responsibilities Include
Project Development Design
- Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
- Prepares detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and gains concurrence and approval from internal and external stakeholders regarding various project aspects.
- Assesses potential project risk and outlines risk mitigation solutions.
- Ensures adherence to company and project management policies, procedures and practices.
- Manages project costs and is responsible for ensuring profitability.
- Identifies, quantifies, and communicates residual risk (time and cost).
- Creates and reviews timely client billings with internal billing support.
