We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our Grand Rapids, MI team. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects across multiple industries, while enjoying the stability and growth opportunities that come with being an employee-owner.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 annually (depending on experience)
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, access control, network, and instrumentation/control systems
  
• Prepare construction documents, including calculations, drawings, and specifications
  
• Perform field investigations and data gathering
  
• Provide client interaction and project coordination
  
• Support construction administration and observation services
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or equivalent)
  
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or actively pursuing licensure
  
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering design experience
  
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code , International Building Codes, and Energy Codes
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software
  
• Experience with water and wastewater facilities preferred
  
• Knowledge of the A/E consulting business a plus
